The Herbal Birth Kit – For Birth Workers contains the following natural remedies:

- Rose Hydrosol Spray* – 50ml
  This protective blend of amazing-smelling, rose hydrosol with Australian Bush Flower Essences (Angelsword and Fringed Violet) deflects and shields the birthing woman’s energy field from any negative outside forces. Perfect for helping you stay in your primal brain bubble while labour is in full force. Can also be used by everyone else in the birth team!

- Clary Sage essential oil – 10ml
  Known for being a great uterine tonic, Clary Sage also helps with relaxation and clarity, reduces irritability, anxiety, fear and panic. It can be diffused into the air, inhaled directly from the bottle, applied to a tissue for inhalation, or added to a base oil for massage.
  (Do not use before your due date, and check with your midwife or Dr that they are not pregnant before using this powerful oil during labour!)
- Birth Essence – 50ml
  This is a blend of Australian Bush Flower Essences that includes Bauhinia – for acceptance and embracing change, Bottlebrush – for letting go, for helping with any transitions, and enhancing bonding between mother and baby, Bush Fuschia – for enhancing intuition, Crowea – to reduce worry, Dog Rose – to reduce fear, and Macrocarpa – to increase stamina and endurance.
- Ginsenergy – 50ml
  This blend contains Siberian Ginseng and Raspberry Leaf tinctures to increase energy and combat fatigue while helping to tone the uterus to keep contractions strong.
- Third Stage Assist – 50ml
  With hospital’s impatience to have the placenta expelled in shorter timeframes than may come naturally, this herbal blend can be used as a prophylactic to facilitate physiological placental birth, or it can be used when there has been a delay and placenta seems stuck. This blend contains the oxytocic herbs Black Cohosh, Blue Cohosh, Adhatoda and Schisandra which will help the placenta expulsion to reduce the risk of bleeding.
- Bleed Stop – 50ml
  This blend contains the herbs Shepherd’s Purse, Ladie’s Mantle, Yarrow and Cinnamon which have uterine styptic (anti-haemorrhagic) and astringent properties to stop bleeding. To be used only after placenta has birthed. (For bleeding prior to placental birth, use the Third Stage Assist blend to help with contracting the uterus!).
- After Birth Relief – 50ml
- Containing the uterine relaxant and antispasmodic herbs Cramp Bark, Black Haw and Skullcap, this blend will help ease the after birth cramps which increase after each birth and for some women can be as painful as labour itself.
- Arnica drops – 30ml
- Homeopathic Arnica helps with bruising, inflammation and swelling. It boosts healing and recovery so is great to take after birth for swollen or stitched yonis, or caesarean incisions.
